Tuesday, October 24, 2006 Steelton Italian Club Trip to Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. “The Heart of the Nation” Steelton Italian Club Veterans Guided Tour World War II Memorial and other Memorials This letter confirms your invitation to come with other Steelton Italian Club members on an expense free trip to visit Washington, D.C., our National Capital, and pay tribute to “The Greatest Generation” at the World War II Memorial dedicated to our entire country’s war effort, especially those who served. We will depart from the Harrisburg Mall, Pole #23 on Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Our Bus, Elite Motor Coach, will arrive at the Harrisburg Mall at 8:00 A.M. and depart at 8:15 A.M. Upon arrival in Washington, D.C. We will board “The Odyssey” (11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.) Step aboard an unforgettable event. Departing from Gangplank Marina, Odyssey offers the most unique entertainment experience the Nations Capital has to offer. Nowhere else will you find a combination of nautical breezes, sumptuous cuisine, attentive service, monumental views, a memorable setting and scenic narrated luncheon cruise. After the luncheon cruise we will visit the World War II Memorial and any other memorials or monuments as time and comfort allows (2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.). Later depart for home with memories of a great trip. We will have a 60 minute supper stop enroute home or in D.C. before departure. Note to all passengers: Please travel with a government issued photo I.D. (PA Drivers License).
